Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Colibri Apps LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, 30 N Gould St, Suite R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA ("we", "us"). They cover the Alnilam app and the website getalnilam.com. By creating an account, buying a plan or using Alnilam, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use Alnilam.

2. What Alnilam is

Alnilam is a daily bulletin. From your birth date, and your birth time and place if you give them, it describes the climate of your day on three indicators (Negotiations, Decisions, People). It uses Western tropical astrology, and, in the Readings tab, numerology and Chinese astrology. It also shows local weather, the moon and the sun.

Indicators, never advice. Alnilam is for personal reflection and entertainment. Nothing in it is financial, investment, legal, medical, psychological or other professional advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to act. Readings are not predictions of fact. You remain responsible for your decisions.

The accuracy score only counts how often you said a day matched. It does not measure whether astrology works.

3. Who can use Alnilam

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract where you live.

4. Your account

You need an account to use Alnilam: your first name, last name and an email address that you confirm with a six-digit code. Give true details, keep access to your email address and do not share your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at contact@getalnilam.com if you think someone else is using it.

5. Free access

For the first seven days after sign-up, everything in Alnilam is open, with no card required. Nothing is charged when these seven days end, and no plan starts by itself. After the seven days, the Today page stays free: the climate line, the day score, the three indicators and their notes, the window, the weather, the sun and the moon.

6. Plans

A plan opens everything else: the evening check-in and the accuracy score, the month ahead, the astral wheel, numerology, Chinese astrology and the agreement line.

Two plans are offered, at the same price everywhere:

• Yearly: $100 per year.
• Monthly: $9.99 per month.

Prices are in US dollars. The App Store and Google Play may show the local equivalent, and taxes may be added where the law requires.

Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. We will never offer a weekly plan, and no free period turns into a paid plan without your action.

A plan is linked to your Alnilam account (your email address), so it opens the app on any phone where you sign in with that account.

7. Buying on our website

On getalnilam.com, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or keep your card details.

• The plan starts, and is charged, the day you buy it, even during your first seven days.
• It renews at the same price at the end of each period, unless you cancel before.
• You can cancel at any time from the link in your payment receipt or by writing to contact@getalnilam.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan stays open until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds: we refund in full, with no questions, if you ask within 14 days of the first payment of a plan. Write to contact@getalnilam.com from your account's email address. After 14 days, and for renewals, we do not refund the current period, unless the law where you live requires it.

8. Buying in the App Store or Google Play

If you buy a plan inside the app, Apple or Google handles the payment under its own terms:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm.
• The plan renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can cancel from the subscription settings of your Apple ID or Google account. Access continues until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds are decided by Apple or Google, under their own rules. We cannot issue them.

9. Price changes

If a price changes, we will tell you in advance. The new price applies only from your next renewal, and you can cancel before it does.

10. Weather

Local weather comes from MET Norway, the Norwegian public weather service. It may be late, incomplete or wrong, and we do not guarantee it. If you refuse the location permission, Alnilam works without the weather.

11. Acceptable use

Do not copy, resell, rent or redistribute Alnilam or its content. Do not try to reach other people's data, to get around the plan system, to take the app apart beyond what the law allows, or to overload or interfere with the service.

12. Our content

The app, its texts, readings, design, logo and the name Alnilam belong to Colibri Apps LLC. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Alnilam on devices you own or control, for as long as you keep your account and follow these terms.

13. Apple and Google

These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. They are not responsible for Alnilam or its content, and they have no duty to provide support for it. If you downloaded Alnilam from the App Store, where these terms say nothing, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

14. Availability and changes to the app

We work to keep Alnilam available and accurate, but we may change, add or remove features. If we remove a paid feature during a period you have paid for, you may ask for a refund of the unused part of that period.

15. No warranty

Alnilam is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any reading will match your day.

16. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any decision you make after reading Alnilam. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

17. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Alnilam and delete your account at any time, in Settings in the app or at getalnilam.com/delete-account. Deleting your account does not cancel a plan bought in the App Store or Google Play: cancel it there too. We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaks these terms, after telling you why when we can.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming. If you live outside the United States, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, nor your right to go to its courts.

19. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. For a significant change, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Alnilam after that, the new terms apply.
