# Alnilam

> Alnilam (pronounced AL-ni-lam) is a private morning bulletin for iPhone and Android, made for executives and people who decide for a living. It reads like a weather app, not a horoscope: each morning it describes the climate of the working day on three indicators, Negotiations, Decisions and People, computed from the user's own birth chart. Indicators, never advice.

- Each indicator has nine levels, from Very unfavorable to Very favorable, and one short line that changes with the transit behind it.
- A day score out of 9, the local weather, the moon, sunrise and sunset.
- "The window": on two or three days a week, one line that crosses the real weather with the day's sky. Ordinary days show nothing.
- Readings: the astral wheel (today's planets against the birth chart, with the day's links in plain words), numerology (personal day, month and year, from the birth date only) and Chinese astrology (the day's animal and element against the user's year). When all three agree, the app says so in one line.
- The month ahead, one ring per day, and an evening check-in ("Did today match?") that builds a personal accuracy score.
- Private by design: the birth date, time and place never leave the phone; every reading is computed on the phone and works offline, except the weather (MET Norway). No ads, no tracking.
- It never gives financial, investment, legal, medical or other professional advice, and never tells the user what to do.
- Pricing: the Today page is free for good. Plans: $100 per year or $9.99 per month, the same price on the website, the App Store and Google Play. The first seven days open everything, with no card; nothing is charged when they end. No weekly plan. Web purchases can be refunded in full within 14 days.
- English only for now. Minimum age 18.
